Terms of service

The service

viik is provided by Montcao LLC. It reviews a resume, formats it as a document without changing its wording, finds public job postings that match it, scores how well it fits one, and prepares the answers for an application, inside a chat assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT. viik never submits an application or contacts an employer: you copy the answers into the employer’s own form yourself. viik is free to use and is early software, still being built: features may change, pause or stop, and it may be unavailable at times. You must be 16 or older to use it.

What viik does not promise

• No job, interview or outcome. A score, including a job’s fit score, is an assessment against viik’s fixed rubric, not a prediction of whether you will be hired or how you compare with other applicants.
• No guarantee that screening software will accept your resume. viik cannot see any employer’s settings.
• Judgments can be wrong. The written review, a second opinion and a fit check come from your chat assistant’s AI. viik checks that it quotes your resume, not that it is right. Read it as advice.
• Job postings may be out of date. They come from companies’ public job boards, collected ahead of time. Check a posting with the employer before you apply.

Your content

Your resume stays yours. You give viik permission to process it only to do the task you ask for, as the privacy policy describes. You are responsible for what you send to employers, including checking any document viik formats and any application answer it prepares before you use it, and you should only give viik a resume you have the right to share.

What you agree not to do

• Use viik to break the law or to harm, harass or deceive anyone.
• Process another person’s resume or personal details without their permission.
• Interfere with viik’s servers, get around its limits, or try to reach anyone else’s information.
• Overload viik with automated requests, or resell or repackage it as your own service.

viik may limit or stop access for anyone who does. If you find a security problem, please tell us at [email protected] rather than testing it further.

No warranty, and limits on liability

viik is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. Montcao LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made by employers or their software, arising from your use of viik. Nothing here limits any right you have that the law does not allow to be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, and any dispute about them is for the state or federal courts located in Wyoming. If you use viik as a consumer and the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your own courts, or to the protection of your own country’s laws, these terms do not take that away.

These terms may change as viik does; the date above says when they last did, and using viik after a change means accepting it. Questions go to [email protected].
